Everyone has a story but not all of those stories are told. Even fewer are remembered hundreds of years after they happened.
I decided to write these short stories to honour my long-suffering convict grandfather, the woman he loved, and the six generations of eldest sons that followed them. One of those men was my own father.
In learning about these stories and sharing them, I hope they are more likely to be told. And less likely to be forgotten.
